Evac is a leading supplier of environmentally friendly water and waste management systems solutions for global ship building industries. To support our growth and ensure continuous development we are seeking for
PRODUCT MANAGER, AUTOMATION & PRODUCT DIGITALIZATION
to join our team in Espoo, Finland. This is a new global role reporting to VP R&D, Product Management and IoT.
In this new and exciting role you will start investigating and planning how to provide our customers value through digitalization. You gather and analyze existing information to figure out how to help our customers optimize their processes and operations. You will manage and develop automation systems and secure competitive product offering for customer needs. You will develop and implement Evac product digitalization roadmap. This is a new and growing business area at Evac, and eventually, you will be hiring and managing a team of your own.
To succeed, you are an independent, entrepreneurial and sociable professional. You have fluent command of both spoken and written English; Finnish is beneficial. You are comfortable with interacting in multinational teams and sharing and gathering information efficiently with various types of stakeholders. Ideally, you have automation background in process industry and understanding of digitalization. Experience from marine industry is beneficial, but not a must. Your educational background is M.Sc. or B.Sc. in relevant area. The position requires some traveling mainly in Europe and the United States; estimated to be max 50 days per year.
