We are seeking a


for a permanent position with Evac’s team in Espoo. This engineer will have a global role and report to our Product Quality & Warranty Manager. 

Your responsibilities:

-Analyzing customer claims alongside R&D experts, subcontractors, suppliers, and supply chain managers and see to the necessary preventive and corrective actions
-Developing suppliers’ quality management and performance  
-Ensuring supplier performance by implementing appropriate preventive and corrective actions at the right time together with Supplier Quality Manager and our sourcing organization
-Taking care of critical FAT work and development of FAT procedures with our R&D staff and suppliers
-Reporting regularly claims and subcontractor and supplier performance to all relevant stakeholders

To succeed, we would like you to have customer-oriented approach and service-minded attitude. You are experienced with production of welded steel structures and machinery. You have basic skills to read electrical drawings and use PLC-units. You have good communications skills in English, Finnish is an advantage, and you are comfortable with interacting with various stakeholders such our R&D personnel, supply-chain managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers. Your education is MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering, production technology, machine automation or similar qualifications. The position requires traveling in Europe and occasionally outside Europe (for example our factories for FAT).
