We are looking for a Lab Engineer for an international ICT company for a fixed term agreement starting ASAP and ending 30.6.2018 with a very possible extension. The selected person shall work on Experis' payroll in our client's premises in Espoo.


Promoting and implementing safe working practices within laboratory / fabrication areas
Operating and helping to improve the fabrication processes and technologies for optical components
Problem identification responsibility for all processes and procedures related to the area(s), participate in improvement
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance on advanced equipment
Optical, mechanical and microscopic testing and analysis methods
Basic data handling, analysis, and reporting


Good communication & teamwork skills in English
Cleanroom experience
Understanding of micro- and nano-fabrication technologies and processes for optical components
Several years of work experience in cleanroom processing protocols or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Science
Good understanding of micro- and nano-fabrication technologies and processes
Hands on cleanroom experience, knowledge on typical processes, such as lithography, deposition and etch processes, and metrology are considered an advantage
Good communication & teamwork skills in English
Self-motivated with the ability to take personal ownership of issues
